Our Beginnings
Founded by Houston-based technologist and entrepreneur Shayan Zadeh, Leap Rail emerged from a pivotal moment of inspiration during MIT’s renowned Grand Health Challenge. After nearly two decades of experience in consumer technology and enterprise software, Shayan felt a calling to help healthcare professionals, particularly operating room teams, bridge the gap between data and daily operational agility. This sense of purpose ignited the creation of Leap Rail.
Recognizing that operating rooms are dynamic and unpredictable, Shayan set out to design solutions that were not just smart—but deeply human. His mission? To ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and listen closely to clinicians themselves.
